In all my time around horses I have found few happy,caring,or nice people. John and Missy are all about the animals, not about who you know or who they know, just about whats best for the animals. I'm very happy to know them. I would feel safe sending someone to them to get a horse,knowing they would be paired with the right horse.

Missy and John have done and are doing a wonderful job with the rescue. They are amazing with these animals who have been left to die and are unwanted. They have brought many horses back from starvation and have given them a home.

 

I have known the people at JM Horse Rescue for two years now. Their mission is provide a stable environment for abused horses and rehabilitate them so that they may become either pasture mates or good human partners. Thus far, with those that could be adopted out, they have done an amazing job!

They are most excellent in caring, bulking up and providing medical support for those animals in need. Although they are unable to rescue all of the animals that need help, those is dire need are NEVER turned away.

The biggest issue that hose owners have is that they tend to hoard and they shouldn't. If ya can't feed them, let them go to caring people like JM so that they will have that second chance. John and Missy love and nurture these majestic animals and they in turn show love back by flourishing.

We had the opportunity to rescue a little Arab mare and with guidance from JM, Hope is sturdy, strong and vital. A far cry from whence she came.

We donate to the rescue as often as we can afford because we know that 100% of what we give goes to the animals. On occasion, we know that JM has taken money from their personal funds to support the animals in need because donations were few and far between. These are the kind of people that you would want to take care of your animals and they are the kind of people that you can trust to tell you the facts about an animal you might want to adopt.

If you have five spare dollars, the rescue will stretch it as far as it could possibly go!

 

This rescue is one of the few more interested in saving horses then anything else!

John and Missy show tremendous care for the horses they rescue. Many of the ones they take in are in terrible condition...they come in on their last legs....and are carefully brought back into a "happy horses life" by these two tremendously caring individuals. They and their volunteers are a true gift to the horses that are brought to the rescue

John and Missy are wonderful people and a great friends.  There love for horses is commendable there undying dedication and compassion comes straight from the heart!

Missy and John at JM Horse Rescue are truly kind and caring natured people. They give 110% to the horses who have been neglected or abused that are fortunate enough to find their way to their rescue. They ALWAYS put the interest of the horses they care for first above all else. They work hard everyday to give each and every horse not only the food, training, and medical care they need but also the love and tenderness every one of them deserves! You couldn't ask for better people to be giving a second chance to the wonderful horses they care for until they find their forever homes!

To love animals so passionately comes naturally for John and Missy.  I have been fortunate to know them for many many years. To see the love they so whole heartedly give to these animals is most definitely "Unconditional."  The animals they take in and tend to are abused by other people.  Just look at the before and after photo's especially "Charity."  Pictures speak for themselves.  John and Missy's love, caring, trust and guided hands help restore the animals body (inside and out) and brings the animals back around to trust human kind again.  Once an animal is abused it takes a while to regain their love and trust. But when John and Missy become the "Rescuers"  it gives the term "Super Hero's" a whole new meaning.
